FEE RULES

SCHOOL FEES & HOSTEL FEES RULES

  1. The academic session at Delhi Public School, Duliajan starts in April and ends in March.
  2. Tuition fees are payable quarterly for twelve months a year.
  3. Fees must be paid as per the School/Hostel fee structure in quarterly installments on or before the due dates mentioned in the fee schedule.
  4. All school fees must be paid through Edu-Qfix.
  5. In case of non-payment of fees within the due date:
    • A late fee fine of ₹50/- per day will be levied for the first 15 days.
    • Beyond 15 days and up to 30 days, a late fee of ₹100/- per day will be applicable.
    • Beyond 30 days, the student’s name will be struck off the rolls, and it will be considered an automatic withdrawal. Re-admission (if granted) will require payment of re-admission fees along with late fees.
  6. It is not mandatory for the school to send a fee reminder. Parents must ensure timely payment.
  7. Report Cards will be issued only after all school dues are cleared.
  8. Parents must obtain a ‘No-Dues Certificate’ before receiving the progress report for Summative Assessment – I & Summative Assessment – II; otherwise, the student’s report card will be withheld.
  9. The fee structure does not include costs for photographs, excursions, camps, books, intra-school competitions, Olympiads, uniforms, or other miscellaneous requirements.
  10. Lateral admissions (admission after April) in school/hostel will require payment of the first installment fee along with subsequent fees as per the regular schedule.
  11. If a student is withdrawn mid-session, tuition fees/boarding & lodging charges for the relevant quarter and all annual charges will still be payable in full.
  12. The fee structure may be revised annually based on inflation and the cost of living.
  13. Any change in address or contact details must be immediately reported in writing to the school office.

WITHDRAWAL RULES

  1. One month’s written notice is required for withdrawing a student from the school.

    • The tuition fee/boarding & lodging charges for the relevant quarter and full annual charges must be paid before withdrawal.
    • The Withdrawal Form is available at the school reception.
  2. Midterm Withdrawals:

    • The same rules as mentioned above apply.
  3. Withdrawal Before a New Session:

    • If a child needs to be withdrawn before the new session begins, parents must apply before March 5th of the current academic session.
    • If the withdrawal application is not submitted before March 5th, the next quarter’s fee will be charged in full.
    • Any unpaid fees will be adjusted against the refundable caution money.
  4. Withdrawal After Admission During a Session:

    • If a child is withdrawn after admission, the first quarter’s fee will be charged in full, and any other dues will be adjusted against the refundable caution money.
  5. Transfer Certificate (TC) will only be issued after all dues are cleared.

  6. A ‘No Dues Certificate’ must be obtained from the Librarian, Lab In-Charge, and Hostel Warden before withdrawing a student.

  7. Students can be asked to leave the school on the following grounds:

    • Disciplinary issues
    • Unsatisfactory academic performance despite counseling and remedial classes
    • Repeated detention in a class

REFUND OF CAUTION MONEY

  1. The original fee receipt issued at the time of admission must be attached to the refund claim.
  2. Parents must submit a prescribed application form for a refund (available at the School Accounts Office or can be downloaded from the school website).
  3. The applicant’s signature on the refund application must match the signature on the Registration/Admission form submitted at the time of admission. Any changes in the signature must be informed to the school office.
  4. Caution money refunds will be processed three months after the Transfer Certificate (TC) is issued.
  5. Any pending dues in the student’s name will be adjusted from the caution money refund.
  6. It is mandatory to provide Bank Account details in the prescribed refund application form.
